Richards of Kendal also operates an efficient Business Service Division specialising in Commercial Premises Removals, Records Management and Archive Document Storage.

In 2003, the company joined the Andrew Porter Limited Group of Companies; a family owned removal company based in Adlington, Lancashire. Andrew Porter Limited operates more than 70 specialist vehicles and employs 200 staff.

In recent years, the company has moved to a newly built office and warehouse complex (the largest purpose-built containerised storage warehouse in the North West). The new complex has its own in-house training centre where all the company’s employees are fully trained.

Not only has this ensured that all of our employees are trained, but also that we are leading the way now and in the future.
